The first season in the Sun Belt is proving to a tough one for the Mavs (6-10). UTA, without Reger Dowell, loses its third conference game 90-70. The Ragin Cajuns (10-5 on the season) got out to a 21-8 lead, and lead 45-27 at halftime. They also blocked 9 Maverick shots. McLanahan had 27 points (with 10-11 FT), Edwards 10 and Luke Davis scored 9 on 3-of-6 three point shooting.
