“Saturday night’s UTA-Weber State game has been canceled with a rescheduled date to be determined” Seems Weber was having trouble flying into the Dallas area. Considering over 680 departures were cancelled at DFW airport, I’m guessing incoming flights were affected a lot as well.

Wonder if icy roads will affect attendance at tomorrow’s Kentucky-Baylor game at Jerryworld?

Not sure if you saw this, but The Shorhorn has a great article about Maverick forward Brandon Edwards, with video of his highlight dunk at Kentucky.

TCU (5-3) had a nice win at Mississippi State the other night. They also have wins in Fort Worth against Abilene Christian, at Washington State, and Tulsa and Alaska-Anchorage in Alaska…but lost to Longwood in Fort Worth, at SMU and Harvard (in Alaska).

North Texas lost at BYU in Provo on tuesday to go 5-4 on the season.

SMU is now 8-2 on the season. Their only losses: by 11 at Arkansas and by 3 to Virginia at a tournament in Corpus Christi.
